Virginia Creeper Taking Over an Old Silo

That's a very colorful silo - I would be tempted to take a picture too! I wonder how long it took the vine to take it over to this extent.

    Fall Scene in Western Vermont

Thanks Jim! I was super happy when I saw how it came out :) :) This farm didn't stand out in particular to me at the time because I was shooting lots of similar scenes in the area, so this result was a very pleasant surprise! This valley near the Adirondacks is really beautiful - mostly farms...

    Fall Scene in Western Vermont

Here's a shot from my drive home from work yesterday evening. The light was throwing some nice light onto the Adirondacks.

    Sunrise October 1st

Thank you! I forgot to include this one. I liked how the fog was interacting with the trees on the right. The sun reflection is so intense that you have the choice of leaving it bright like the eye registers the scene or with a lot of contrast, like 2 and 5 (which people seem to prefer).

End of the Milky Way Season

That's beautiful! I like how you balanced the lighting to be able to appreciate both the columns and the sky. Did you add the reflection on the water from the star on the right? The composition works very well.

    Sunrise October 1st

The sunrises at our house are pretty nice. Here are a few pictures from last Friday. The first one is of our deck getting bathed in light and the others are of the field across the road as the sun came up and burned off the mist. The currents in the fog made it look like a fluid, which...

    Badger in the Darkness

Wow, what a great action shot. Very nice processing, I love the vignette and detail in the badger's face. I've only gimpsed one crossing the road at night once and didn't know what their faces looked like. This sheds some light on it :)

    September in Shoreham

Thanks. Yes, the leaves are turning slowly but surely. It's fun to watch. Thanks Jim! I'm looking forward to the colors too. I see what you mean about the bottom edge, it was bothering me too. Next time I drive by I'll try to frame this better. (Though the hay bales might be gone by then...)

    Fall in Frisco

Nice contrast of yellows and greens, very original with the added sunset color. I had the same reaction as Timmeh about possible blown out yellows in front, but I'm on my phone with the screen dimmed so am not set up to make any critiques at the moment ;) Neat early fall scene.

    Shore Acres Moonscape II

This is so cool! The trees look snowy which makes the brain think the rock is also covered in snow and ice. This scene looks like it was made for IR. Good intuition to use it.
