It only takes one redneck rural resident with no awareness of the proper way to approach a cyclist to kill him. Not heavy traffic. (yes, spoken like the true cyclist that I am).

I'm not aware of this 'fad', but have seen the occasional memorial bike with flowers placed at the site of where the cyclist got killed by a inattentive or drunk driver.

Forests are challenging places to make meaningful images. And you handled the light very well. Nice imaging!

Great imaging as usual Eric. I had a Guira Cuckoo ready to go but you beat me to it! It's hard too tell if this Macaw is annoyed, they always look happy. And this Green Rufous Kingfisher is just being cute for the photographer.

The signage at the entry to the nature area is in the wrong language.

It's a nice road and takes you to some great places and trailheads. Fortunately not too many people go there.

It's #4 for me, that background light is great.

Very nice image Jim. I thought it was called Monument Basin. I've been there, both from the top where you were and down near the edge on the White Rim Road.
