Thanks! I couldn't take many images from the more snow covered side as the snow was melting from the tree branches above, and I was being pelted by snow and ice.
We had a surprise snow storm in north Georgia on Friday into Saturday. What was expected to be just an inch turned into 5 inches out my house and 10 inches in some of the surrounding suburbs. I was able to get out Saturday afternoon after the melt began and get some shots of this covered bridge.
These two cars were displayed perfectly. As soon as I saw them, I knew I wanted the shot. And the cars too! I was about 3 years old when these cars were manufactured, so I consider them old, and very cool!
On Saturday morning I captured this amazing sunrise at War Hill Park on Lake Lanier in Dawsonville, GA. This is one of the most colorful sunrises I've photographed.
These two shots were taken the day before Thanksgiving. The first shot is a 60-second exposure taken shortly before sunrise. The second shot was taken 8 minutes later as the sun rose above the horizon. The second shot is a 13-second exposure.
I had the opportunity to follow a family of osprey from the building of the nest until the fledgling of the three babies while living in west Georgia five years ago. Of the hundreds of photos I took, this is my favorite.
I think I prefer the first one, too. At Anna Ruby Falls, the cascades are usually better than the falls. I haven't edited those shots yet. And GO DAWGS! :)

There is an issue with Uploading Photos (attachjments). I am not sure what the problem is, and I am looking into it. You can still try to Create your Threads and Upload your Photos, but it is hanging up during the Upload.
