Thanks guys!here are far more Golden Eagles here in La Sal and Cisco, I can always find one of those. The baldies are far harder to come by. I might have to go look today, although with the unseasonal hot weather, who knows....

That's a nice capture no matter whether the birds or common or rare. Excellent level of detail.

I forgot how rare they are in Utah after moving to the NW. I do recall seeing lots of golden eagles in northern Utah but I don't think I saw a bald eagle more than once or twice in the 30 years I lived in Utah. There are several nesting pairs within a 3 mile radius of my house in Vancouver.

The Bald Eagles are few and far between along the Colorado River. One or two seem to show up in late November or early December. If you get lucky they might do a fly by and check you out.... This was totally lucky as I just happened to turn away from the river toward the cliff, and saw him coming. And it actually came out in focus.
