Inner Smile is from my Naturally Abstract collection and was composed at the Aiken County Historical Museum in Aiken, SC. I loved the bold, attractive colors on this canna lily, but the pattern they created was equally alluring.
Sugar is from my Naturally Abstract collection and was composed at Swan Lake Iris Gardens in Sumter, SC. I loved the soft rolls and arcs and, of course, the colors.
Slit is from my Naturally Abstract collection and was composed at Swan Lake Iris Gardens in Sumter, SC. In my minds eye, this felt like a pupil as if Mother Nature had created a flower that could look back at its admirers. I don't often use focus stacking, but here I was able to successfully...
Rolls is from my Naturally Abstract collection and was composed at Swan Lake Iris Gardens in Sumter, SC. I was attracted to this scene by how the points and sharp edges in the center create a tension that dissipates in waves that flow out into the frame as the rolled petals become larger and...
Swirled is from my Naturally Abstract collection and was composed at the Rye Patch in Aiken, SC. I found this very wet rose in the rose garden. I felt that the water and drops added to the overall abstract feel.
One of the farmers north of Montrose Colorado plants several fields of sunflowers. On my way out from spending a week or so in SW Colorado I saw the sunflowers and made an immediate U turn to get back to them.
All comments are welcome,

Expansive is from my Naturally Abstract collection and was composed at the Grove Plantation near Adams Run, SC. The thistle here reminded me of an explosion since it appears to be expanding out from the center in all directions.
A Dogwood that is. :)
This was from a month ago in Yosemite National Park, down by the Merced River and not too far from Gates of the Valley. It was past Dogwood peak, but the flowers despite having a bit of character to them due to getting a little aged, they still were larger then the leaves...
Purple Spots is from my Naturally Abstract collection and was composed at the Aiken County Historical Museum in Aiken, SC. This foxglove had fallen off the plant and was on the ground. I took it, opened it up, spread it out flat on a wood chip, and used it as a subject. So, this is what one...
H 2 Oh! is from my Naturally Abstract collection and was composed at the Rye Patch in Aiken, SC. I was lucky to keep most of my gear dry after the automatic sprinkler system came on while I was working the pansies in Patsy's Garden, but the good news is after it was done, I was able to create...
Dropped In is from my Naturally Abstract collection and was composed at the Aiken County Historical Museum in Aiken, SC. I loved the colors of this lily, but the drops were even more attractive.
Half Cone is from my Naturally Abstract collection and was composed at the Aiken County Historical Museum in Aiken, SC. To create an artistically pleasing piece, I used a perspective that I hadn't previously considered.
Curly is from my Naturally Abstract collection and was composed at Hopeland Gardens in Aiken, SC. I have found that canna lilies make very nice subjects.
This is my first steps in the macro world. I borrowed a 100 Tokina macro lens form my friend @lionking and I played with it this morning.
This image is stacked from 5 images, unfortunately manually (D850 needs AF lens to allow Focus shifting).
C&C is welcomed
