    Superbloom....in UT?

While I was on my trip I knew I was going to have two full days with no clouds. So I drove to the needles part of Canyonlands and on my way I saw this amazing display! CC welcome

    Tulip Fields

The Skagit Valley tulip fields are a big tourist draw this time of year. We just did a quick stop at one field on our way to dinner at Nell Thorn's in La Connor (highly recommended). I've shot them many times from the ground so I took my drone up for a quick look.

    First Post - Intro

Hello, To be consistent with the other photography forums I've joined over the past couple of years, I like to submit something of my own before commenting on images from established members. High Sierra Wildflowers

Here is one from last year up in the Eastern Sierra up above Rock Creek off of Hwy 395 in California. It's really great to be able to capture the wildflowers blooming like this next to the creek. All comments are welcome, Jim

    Telephoto close-up focus stack

I was out on my deck today seeing what I could capture with my 150-600mm lens. For this I took a number of shots at 460mm, f16, to focus stack on the purple flowers and leaves up front. I took a final shot at 6.3 to use as a background that was layered with the final focus stack and blended...

I did something this year I have been wanting to do since stumbling on this beautiful place in 2014. I backpacked into this beautiful backcountry with @JimFox and had two day to shoot an area that I love so much! CC always welcomed
