I keep exploring my archives of forested places, maybe with all the mismanaged logging and fires that are dominating my wavelength, I feel the need to grant myself solace. Seeing nature mature or left along to transform its self is always beautiful.

Up in the Columbia River Gorge it's easy to just photograph the waterfalls, but once in a while I would stop and try to capture the cool trails back in there. I don't recall which trail this is now, and unfortunately odds are it doesn't exist anymore. But at least I still have fond memories...
As nice as Panther Creek Falls is in Southern Washington (and it is one of my favorites anywhere), I thought the creek above it was awfully photogenic too. So here is a view. Any thoughts are welcome.
There is an issue with Uploading Photos (attachjments). I am not sure what the problem is, and I am looking into it. You can still try to Create your Threads and Upload your Photos, but it is hanging up during the Upload.
