Last weekend near Lake Isabelle, it was a very windy morning.

We were hustling to ski off the summit area as a thunderstorm threatened, but I had to wait for this shot since the light was so nice. Adding to the cool theme.

Second try at Isabelle lake, it was very windy, but the glow and clouds were great.

My morning hike was with the plan to shoot this frame, I wasn't quite happy with the wind and plain sky. Well, that's part of nature photography, get up early and try again tomorrow!

I climbed through this pass on my way to Vesper Pk. a couple weeks ago. The clouds added just the right accent to Vega Tower in the background.

Taken in the Sunrise area last week. Typical Rainier weather - good all round, but boiling clouds around the mountain.

I shot some of my friends skinning up for another run on the Paradise Glacier on Mt. Rainier on July 5th. The surface of the snow in the summer gets a light dusting from pumice, the turns we make skiing make nice white curves that contrast with it.
