I missed waterfall Wednesday this week (backpacking in Montana) but did finally find some time to process this image from Proxy Falls I took a couple of weeks ago. The light is a little more mottled than I'd like, but it really is an impressive fall.
Any thoughts are welcome.
I was up on Steens Mt. back at the end of September for the first snow of the season. We still managed to drive almost to the top in our truck camper. I flew my Mavic 2 Pro down and out from the mountain to look back at the sunrise hitting the east face.
I'm on the rim on the far right (not...
This was the first stop on our month long trip to the SW. I didn't have room on my laptop hard drive so had to move these to an external and wait until I got home to process them. I just finished the rain storm pano and am very happy with it.

My wife and I had never been to this beach in southern Oregon before our recent trip. Nice place, not many people, and supposed to be good for finding agates (Debbie found one).
Mid morning light led me to convert to B&W.
Our night at Beverly Beach had the best sunset of our spring Oregon coast trip.
I shot a bunch of a couple of black labs chasing a ball on the beach. I took these with my iPhone and it was fun to airdrop them to the owners.

I was excited to fly my drone at Cape Kiwanda, but it was so windy at sunset I chickened out and shot from the ground. These were late morning shots, still windy but not so gusty. If you click through to the gallery view in the first picture you can spot my wife and I standing by the fence on...
Cape Kiwanda is my favorite spot on the Oregon Coast . The sandstone formation doesn't look special from the beach - you have to hike up onto it to find the cool stuff. We spent a couple days here, these are from our first night. I was lucky to have it to myself on this mid-week evening.
My wife and I were at first a bit disappointed that our last full day of a week long vacation in Oregon was a stormy. We ended up having one of our nicest walks on this beach just south of Cannon. A bit of rain made it a fast and exciting return, but didn't result in an actual soaking. Of course...
I took the long way back to California from Colorado a few months back and went through Oregon and stopped by my favorite beach, Bandon. This was early morning, there wasn't any clouds but I got a few low clouds right at sunrise that added some nice color. This is cropped into a 16x9 format...
Well, actually the Oregon Trail!
While taking the grandkids up to camp in the Tetons we stopped by this area where the Oregon Trail is still seen. It's a really cool thing to see that after all these years the trail is still seen and used.

Last Sunday it rained fairly hard for this area, and I recall looking out and thinking, "no photo today". But about 6pm, it suddenly cleared and I found myself on the computer looking at weather maps and forecasts. By 7, I was loading gear in the truck. I went to a spot I've been eyeing in Hood...
One from a few years back in the Columbia River Gorge.

PS. I didn't title this one because I don't remember where I shot this, maybe Alan will recognize it.
I'm waiting to board a flight to Portland on my way to a family reunion in southern Washington. So with that in mind, I figured I'd post something from that area. I took this in the Oneonta Gorge a couple years ago on a spring trip to explore the area around the Columbia River. Any thoughts are...
There is an issue with Uploading Photos (attachjments). I am not sure what the problem is, and I am looking into it. You can still try to Create your Threads and Upload your Photos, but it is hanging up during the Upload.
