I captured this earlier in the week in Joshua Tree National Park, my favorite dark sky area and a nice short 2 hour drive when I am in California. I need to find a similar dark sky site close to Colorado that doesn't sit below freezing in the winter time.

For this one I combined the data from 2 different nights a week a part. I shoot primarily with the Tamron 150-600mm G2 lens, and after my first night out I started taking notes and also making an effort to shoot any of my DSO targets at the same Focal length each time, just so I can stack data...
So once again, I was surprised to find that this has never been posted on FW (or at least I cannot find it anywhere on the site.) Perhaps because while it shows lots of promise, it is a bit of an embarrassing image, and serves as a cautionary tale to try not to let your excitement in the moment...
This was taken 3 weeks ago in February but I just got to start processing this. I probably spent about 8 hours on this one. There was quite a few total restarts on this, mainly from the Starnet++ program that removes stars. I would run the program but not really like the artifacts that it could...
There is an issue with Uploading Photos (attachjments). I am not sure what the problem is, and I am looking into it. You can still try to Create your Threads and Upload your Photos, but it is hanging up during the Upload.
