While heading home on the 95 East from Hanksville, I drove through this beautiful canyon and couldn't resist breaking out the IR camera.

This does have a very dreamy mood Sonny! And what a cool canyon you found. Well worth stopping.

One thing I have noticed with shooting IR is that the highlights all blow out when I do the Custom WB, so in ACR, I am always cranking up 100% White recovery and 100% Highlight recovery. Even though it looked okay on the histogram when shooting, the IR light ends up being very bright on the conversion.

Thanks guys, that's the mood I was totally shooting for!

I do notice that myself and sometime avoid using a custom WB. I also find myself struggling with swapping the channel or not. I like the odd colors but I always seem to look for the more natural colors with an IR effect.

Yes, and one of the most beautiful roads I have ever driven or ridden! Definitely doing that one again.
