A beautiful day.

After the morning frost on the trees outside my window I decided to spend a few hours along our magnificent river in Saskatoon.
After a few weeks of cold, windy weather today was a balmy -7C or 12F with no wind. The fog and frost continued to give some very muted skies and icing sugar trees.

The ice does lend some nice accents to the scenery up there. I like the view into the downtown area.

I like both of these. I think #1 could be cropped into a pano losing some of the sky.

But your scenes remind me that I had wanted to get up to Minnesota this winter to photograph the snow. But then I decided I wanted to spend December and the holidays with my family in Southern California. I have been to Disneyland every day for 2 weeks basically, so the complete opposite of winter in Minnesota.
