A Columbine Parade

We have a nice variety of columbines in bloom as of yesterday so I grabbed a few captures to sample the color show. I do not know the specific varieties of these beyond the very distinctive Firecracker.

Quite a variety of the columbines in your yard. The orange and yellow grab my attention the most.

Thanks Jameel - I think my wife went nuts one day looking at Columbines on a web site and grabbed a bunch of hybrid varieties. She can't remember the exact variety names and just recalled liking the pictures of the blooms.

Thanks Monika - there are at least two different variants of the purples - the bottom one is a multiflora and the one above it isn't. There seem to be some more slight variants out back that might be something in between these two purple variants. Stands to reason when these have all been established for quite a few years and likely got to know each other
