A Morning in Little Lakes Valley

Little Lakes Valley is a popular place to go hiking in the Eastern Sierra of CA and if you want a parking spot close to the trailhead in the summer, you must arrive early. I started the hike a few minutes too late to see the most intense sunrise colors on the peaks.

Nice views in all of these. Very hard to pick a favorite but the light in the first one is quite captivating. I love the reflections in #2 and the foreground flowers in #3.

Three really nice compositions. I'm always a sucker for reflections so I tend to gravitate to the second, but both the leading creek in the first and the flowers in the 3rd make great foregrounds
