Jim, this is a stunning portrait of the dogwood flower, quiet, elegant, and luminous. The exposure is perfect: petals glowing with the leaves melting into shadow. It is a masterclass in simplicity.

Thanks Alan. I was blowing on the petals to clean them off, but after a bit I stopped as I decided I liked the more natural look.

I appreciate that Eric, it's an endless search to find and then try to isolate. This may be one of my best Dogwood blooms I think.
