Afternoon View near Crested Butte

This image was taken on the road between Crested Butte and Gothic on a nice summer afternoon.

I like the meandering stream through this high elevation river valley. Nice clouds.

This would be another one I would crop from. In this case it's losing the bottom with that dirt. It would be a stronger image with just grass along the bottom edge.

Cropping while post processing is an awesome tool. I crop so many of mines. Usually not a huge crop, just some to make sure all of my edges are clean and not distracting.

I did crop some of the bottom of this image but stopped here because I did not like cutting the bottoms of the plants on the left and the flowers on the right.
