American Empress

The American Empress is a 381 ft. diesel powered paddle wheel cruise ship based out of Vancouver Washington currently owned by the American Queen Steamboat Company. There are a number of different cruises offered along the Columbia River between Astoria and Clarkston, Idaho. The boat was previously known as the Empress of the North with Juneau Alaska as the port of registry.

This was shot overlooking the Columbia from Thunder Island in Cascade Locks, Oregon.
