I like the pose but the composition feels like it's cut off with the partial reflection down in front and the partial bird behind your primary subject. Were there other distractions that kept you from opening the frame up any more than this?

Hey Larry I like what you did here, though I agree with Alan, having the other Pelican behind it that's cropped in half feels cut off then.

Hi Alan, thanks for the comments, appreciated. Yes there were lots of distraction, namely about 12 pelicans and a pesty cormorant that kept fliting amount the pelicans. I did get a few individual shots where I could clone out some of the distractions. I posted earlier a shot of the cormorant in the middle of about 6 pelicans which I titled 'identity crisis' from this same shoot.
