An Everlasting View

Western Pearly Everlasting (Anaphalis margaritacea) is a tiny flower that blooms in clusters like the scene in the image below. This whole cluster is approximately 5 inches across with each flower measuring roughly 1/4" in diameter. The blooms actually seem everlasting as they have been looking like this for over a month now.

I was trying to figure out what the photo would be based on the title. I had pictured a view of the Columbia River Gorge in my head, so I couldn't have been more off base...

I do like this, a beautiful bunch of flowers!

Views in the Gorge are fairly hazy right now with wildfire smoke from farther east filtering down. I was up there yesterday and could see that views up the river were not so photogenic.
