Another angle of Wednesday's sunrise

I was on my way to Wahkeena Falls, but stopped for just a minute at the Crown Point Viewpoint to grab this single shot. The good colors covered a lot of miles that day.

On a side note, the views at this classic stop are severely limited by the bushes and trees getting too tall. This was the only comp I could get without a bunch of leaves dominating the foreground. Even a silhouette of OOF leaves and twigs looks bad. Advantage: Drone users !

I love the silhouetted view of the Gorge from the Women's Resource Center overlook with Crown Point in the foreground.

I don't usually fly from either there or from Crown Point itself just because of all the people usually there. At the hour of the morning you were up there would have been a different story. The vegetation at that viewpoint has never been pruned or removed in my recent memory and a flight at only about 20' from the ground would help with that but it can't match the image quality of your regular camera.

Love that view, and love the look of this! This has a real film quality to my mind. I really like this!
