another IR attempt

I was in the mood to give it another go. IR needs a certain type of subject otherwise it just looks odd. I haven't found the right ones, but I practiced on these two. All C&C appreciated.

The contrast of the ivy leaves and the tree trunk are interesting in the first image. Did you have a windy day for this session? There are what look like tree leaves blowing around in the upper parts of that image. The second image doesn't scream IR at me but I kind of wish it did. How does that one look with color?

IR is one of those things I have wanted to try but have never gotten around to sending in a camera body for conversion.

The first image is a great subject for IR, I really like the contrast of the bark vs the vines. Looks great!

These are super cool Joe! Are you using an IR converged camera?

#1 certainly stands out as an IR, but I also like #2 a lot, maybe more because of the elements in it. It demonstrates that an IR image doesn’t have to always scream IR. Sometimes what I like about IR is how it can make such a rich looking B&W image as in #2.
