Anti-twilight over the Inyos

Took the Wayback machine to Dec '07!
Driving north on 395 toward Lone Pine for a couple days shooting with a friend.
The Inyo Mtn's had a nice little cap of snow that showed out nicely in the evening light, and the colorful anti-twilight in the sky further added to the mood of the scene. I can't help but enjoy this light so we pulled over for the shot.

I can see why you pulled over - very nice light. I like the pastel shades in the skies and the muted earthen tones down in the valley.

That's really nice light, Barry, but you could crop the foreground and make a really nice pano shot out of it.

I will make the opposite suggestion from Monika, I like the piano idea but I would keep the foreground but cut off half of the sky to lose that vapor trail. That will help the magenta along the horizon to feel more concentrated and really help it to be more prominent. Less is more...
