How many oddly shaped peaks can you see from one viewpoint and include on one photograph? In my opinion, many and this is exactly what I was trying to showcase in this photo. But let me assure you, it is only a small fragment of the entire oddly shaped mountain range. Interestingly enough, these peaks do not only have unusual shapes, but they also have quite rare names (if any). So starting from the left side we have Sigmund Peak, Umik Mountain, Breidabik Peak, Nanna Peak, Mt. Baldr,
Mt. Thor, Tirkowa Peak, and Mount Northumbria (on the right). And all of them are mostly made of granite.

Classic glacial cirques with smooth curved faces that were up close and personal with glaciers. These are more pronounced than a lot I have seen and document some seriously large glaciers. Beautiful mountains and I like the late(?) day light on the peaks.

Grand vista with soft light makes for a fabulous image. One could go wider here to take in more of the range.

Nice, soft light in the far north! My husband spent a good portion of July there (while I was in Iceland) in the Weasel Valley. Assuming you were there in summer?

Every year I run 2 weeks long photo workshops/adventure in the Auyuittug National Park on Baffin Island. We hike 100km long "trail." Never been there in July. Too many mosquitoes and unpredictable water levels. My workshops are usually in early Sept.

Sure, glad to hear it and you won't regret it.There are already a few people that want to join me in 2019. And I take only a few people each year as you probably know. It is not a bus tour type of tour with hot dogs stands and lattes :) For some reason 2019 became a popular year :) Pressure is on.You know where to find me. Cheers.

Yes, the fjords were iced in 2 days before my husband got there. You must get some snow in Sept? If solo backpacking in the Winds last summer for the eclipse didn't just about kill me, I'd be asking you for details

No snow in September (first 2 weeks) when I had my tour over there in the last 2 years. But it is the land of glaciers so near glaciers you can expect anything. I had snow over there in September in previous years, e.g.: 2014, but again it was later in September (3-4 week). One thing photographer can't predict is the weather.
