That's a great find Amy! You have some cool reflections in it, and those aspen trunks are really nice. When fall color does come, this would be a sweet place to go back to.

I like that I can see more of the sky in the reflection, makes it interesting. Certainly a place to go back to, if convenient...

Thank you all for your comments. I agree, definitely a place to revisit when the trees start turning.

I have a question, is this photo coming thru too bright? I'm having a hard time dialing in my monitors to the appropriate brightness. I thought I had it, but I ordered prints and they all can in darker then I wanted. So now I might be over compensating.

This is a common screen output issue for folks using iMacs, generally speaking the 4 or 5k monitors are bright compared with the same image printed. What kind of computer are you using, if you don't mind saying?
This image looks fine.

I use a Dell with Dell Monitors. I ordered 5 prints from Aluminyze , and 4 out the 5 were extremely dark. I had ordered from them in the past without this problem...yes, slightly darker but not too bad. I need to order more for a gallery up in Gunnison and I'm very nervous about the out come.

For multiple prints, the shop should offer a small test print, so you can develop an eye for how it looks at home compared to their output. They may recommend a print profile that they are familiar with, either way they should work with you if they want a repeat customer.

Do you have any kind of monitor calibration tools? (for example X-rite ColorMunki, Datacolor Spyder, or X-Rite i1Display). Brightness is part of the calibration process.
