Back-country Powder Skiing

That looks like the kind of powder I got spoiled with in Utah. Nice you get to play in that kind of fluffy stuff even if it does turn into cement when the temps go up.

Thanks for comments guys, and the Daily Feature honor Jim!

My younger friend Jeff broke trail for us up and out of this valley, but then wouldn't let me quit until we finished 3 laps for a total of 4,000+ ft. . That's a normal day, but I haven't gotten out much this winter, so I was too tired to get the phone out on any other runs (and Jeff just wanted to ski, not pose). I was lucky to get this early in the morning.

Wow, this is stunning. The slope looks so steep and you managed to catch the action while framing the mountains in the background - awesome! I wish I could ski that good :D

Thanks Amy, I wish I could ski like Jeff too! He's the strongest skier I get out with. When he saw this picture at the end of the day he criticized it because the slope was so low angle it looked like "meadow skipping".
