Backlit Bryce

Backlighting or side lighting in Bryce Canyon is a magical experience to behold. Here are two I captured a few years ago.

I agree thee is nothing more incredible than the backlit hoodoos at Bryce. I like both of these but the more intimate view the best, Jim. Absolutely beautiful.

I took a sunrise shot from over near Inspiration Point a number of years back with this kind of reflected light and Hoodoo Candles was the title for the image. Now that I stop to look at the ledge in the second image that's the same place you shot these ......

Both are excellent but I really like the light on the bushes in #2.

Enjoy the glow, that is one thing that draws at you in Bryce is the reflective glow in the pastel cremes and oranges. Nice shots.
