Balanced Rock at Arches NP

On a trip to Arches National Park I got up early with a photo friend to capture Balanced Rock and a few rock friends at sunrise. We were presented with an amazing light display that lasted several minutes and was breath taking! Here is one of the images I got that I liked a lot!

I didn’t want rocks and foreground totally black so I opened the the shadows just enough to give a hint of the details.
