Balsamroot with pollinator

A grouping of Arrowleaf Balsamroot in a local canyon. One of the few times I've ever had a high enough shutter speed to capture a pollinator in flight without it being a blur.

Oh wow Kurt! Yeah, shutter speed can be an issue with these.

And congrats on that pollinator. I kept looking for a large bee and couldn't see it. I was starting to think maybe you had posted the wrong image, and then I finally found it.
