Very cool. I like your set of this lady.

These owls seem better adapted to living around humans than the native Spotted owls in the PNW forests and the Barred owls have been making territorial gains in our area. Lots of efforts to mitigate the declining number of spotted owls up here but as h. saps we don't have a remarkable record when it comes to species interventions. There are proposals to shoot the Barred owls to keep them from overwhelming the Spotted owl populations but I have my doubts about the outcomes of this approach since we have already pretty much ruined the Spotted owl habitat.

I like the first two and love the last one! Having the mother and child together is way beyond cute!
