Beautiful Feathers

I really didn't find Cormorants all that interesting until lately, when I realized how beautiful their feathers and the patterns they have really are.

Their feathers can be really interesting - when they are dry. They can appear a bit on the scruffy side when they are all wet. This is a really nice shot of one.

What a cool shot Darcy, and I have to agree, now that you pointed out just how cool their feathers are I will never think of Cormorants as boring again!
