Tonight (Monday) just after sunset I was driving down the I-15 with the grandkids. I had actually seen it while on the I-70, it made for an interesting sunset. But from that angle no flames were seen, though the clouds looked cool. I will try to post some of those later.

I did capture it with my Z8, but since I am traveling the iPhone is where these photos are from.

They evacuated the entire town of Eureka because of this fire. This could turn out to be a really nasty fire season. Did you have to drive through the smoke?

Wow! I didn't know that.

Fortunately we didn't have to drive through any smoke.

Wildfires are awfully impressive......from a distance and without personal involvement!
Human caused, started on private property & spread to public lands.
