Before There was Two

Before there was two clouds, there was one Lenticular cloud. It was really windy so there wasn't much of a reflection, but I still liked the water as the foreground better then the dried grass covering everything else.

This was from a few days ago at the Poudre Learning Center in Northern Colorado.

Where is the mountain that spawned it? Lenticulars usually form directly over a mountain peak. I like the shape of the cloud.

The Rockys are a ways away from here, though maybe no different then when Lenticulars spawn over Mono Lake. The Rockys are to my right in this image. It was super windy, so perhaps that helped.
