Nice result. I can imagine a drone shot high up taking in the ground patterns and the lightning to go with it.

Nice colors but I'm curious ... bentonite? What is the connection?
There are what is called the Bentonite Hills in that area east of Capitol Reef where the hills have these cool layers. From aerial views they can create rings even in the hills with their patterns. This is part of that area.

Thanks Doug!

Thanks Jameel.

That would be cool to do Jameel, but flying a drone during this may not be a good idea. There can be lot's of static electricity that could fry that puppy up in the sky. And I had launched my drone to capture the hills before the sunset, while the storm was a ways off and I couldn't fly the drone as it was too breezy from the storm, it was tossing my drone all around, I had only raised it up about 10 feet from the ground, and I am glad I was able to get it to land in one piece.

Maybe a drone could be flown in those conditions? I won't say it couldn't, but I sure couldn't fly mine. And of course once the rain hit me, there was definitely no way to fly it.
