Another trip to Venus Pools this morning. Never seems to disappoint

Wow - "Nothing seems to disappoint" is almost a bit of an understatement. These are some fantastic bird images. Hard to pick favorites but I do love the first two in particular.

Thanks Jim, I think my astro hobby has helped me with the birds. The ability to frame the subject and the layer masking colours to bring a balance to each image definitely comes from my astro work. I’m glad I took a stab at bird photography as I very much enjoy it (and can do it a little more often than astro given I only get a handful of clear nights a year).
