I never heard of a Laughing Gull before. My favorite is #3. I really love Orioles, though I seldom see them.

I was surprised you hadn't heard of a Laughing Gull, but then I did some research and realised they aren't on the West coast of the US, only appearing as high as Baja California Sur in non-breeding plumage. So thanks Jim, I learnt something new today.

I know I wouldn't laugh if I saw a Laughing Gull up here! :)

They have some cool head markings compared to our normal ones. Here in SoCal, Seagulls are probably as hated as pigeons are in New York City. They are everywhere it seems and they poop on everything...
