An early morning trip to a wetland area on Aruba where I saw a few Black-necked Stilt, Himantopus mexicanus

What a crazy looking bird! Those legs are soooooo long!

#1 and 3 are my favorites. But #1 is my favorite by a large margin, what great timing on that!

Thanks for looking and commenting Jim, it's greatly appreciated #1 is a part of a long series but probably the best of the bunch.

Great shots Kevin. I envy how clean your whites are. Wonderful poses as well.
Thank you Trent, it's amazing what you can do in Lightroom and Photoshop, although not overexposing in camera is a great help.

The first image belies just how long those legs are so the second image was almost a shock :) Neat bird.
Thanks Alan, I must admit I find these birds very attractive although a bit weird 😁
