Bled Island

In the center of Lake Bled, a popular destination in Slovenia, is Bled Island. I spent two days monitoring the island for the best light and conditions. It has a Baroque church that contains fresco elements from the 15th century. I never got to go on the island, but I photographed it from both the air and from the shoreline. The aerial image is a reverse view of what I posted here already and the other is from the shoreline. Pretty iconic!

Wow - I love that little island. Nice job imaging it. I like the aerial view but the light and low clouds in the first image is a first class charmer of an image.

Both of these are iconic and grand Jeffrey. It's amazing in a sense how small the island is and just how full it is.
