Buildings in St Elmo

Restored buildings in St Elmo. The town was classified a ghost town in 1958 when the last people moved out. In about 1985 the town was declared at historic site and a renovation started. A very interesting place to visit and learn about the silver industry started there in about 1880.

Thank you Jim, the historical society has kept much of the original look of St Elmo during their restoration.
