Canadian Wildfire Influenced Sunset

The wildfires in Canada are extending down to the Twin Cities. Our air quality is been very poor over the last several days. Kind of reminds me of LA in the late 60s/70s. The only benefit has been sunset

I have been hearing about really bad air quality in Minnesota recently. It looks by your image to be true!

But as you said, it does make for a really sunset image. So there is at least one plus from it.

I love seeing shots like this but am not so fond of shooting them with bad air. From the looks of the smoke maps you are actually on the western edge of the really nasty stuff over near Chicago.

Things finally cleared out today! Yesterday, even the rain didn't clear out the smoke and haze. It was bad.
