Caribou Falls

My wife and I are taking a few days vacation up on the north shore of Lake Superior. Whene we were arriving the weather was cloudy and cool and I commented that this was perfect conditions for some waterfall photography. Once we got settled, I decided to head out to Caribou Falls having never visited. Of course, as I’m driving the 10 miles to the site, the weather clears yielding bright sunshine . . . Not what I was wanting at that moment. Ah well, I went and shot the waterfall anyway using a 10-Stop neutral density filter.

Nice you had the ND filter along to make up for the sunshine. These are some neat looking falls. I like your results.

Very nice work Bob! Great job with this as I couldn't tell there was any issue with the sunlight. So you did a great job on capturing and processing this.

I am not sure if I have been to Caribou Falls, I will have to add it to the list for my next visit. The North Shore is one of my favorite area's in the state.

Very nice. That 10 stop ND rendered the water nicely. Is this a blend? The rock face or the foliage doesn’t show any signs of harsh sunlight.
