Cheetah and Tree

One of my goals for my recent trip to Kenya was to see and photograph cheetahs - something I missed when I went to Botswana in 2022. We tracked this handsome fellow for most of our first day in the Mara. Our guide correctly predicted that as the cheetah came up the hill it would stop on this tree for a good view and positioned us in the right spot for when it arrived. I have plenty of close-ups from that morning (and some that I really like), but I wanted to kick off sharing safari photos with this broader view of the tree and cat.

I am glad that you got some photos of Cheetah's since they alluded you last time. That always feels good to get something me missed.

I do like how it's posed. That's super cool.

Nice pose and with the cat up on the tree limb a much better view than if it were on the ground. Can't wait to see more from your trip.
