Colorado County Road 5 on a cloudy day

Had a couple of days of cloudy and sometimes rainy weather. Patience sometimes yields nice opportunities on days like this. I was the only one up there for the 2-3 hours I was there. I do find the massed yellows very challenging to process.

I think cloudy says make the yellows easier to process than lots of sun, they really pop against a darker background and you sure have a nice scene here.

I agree that sometimes all of the yellow leaves can easily merge into one color. And CR5 seems to be the area there that is the worst because there is such a solid grove of Aspen there.
