Hi Alan, thanks for the comments! That's a seriously dense stand of aspen - looks stunning adorned with fall colors like this and the stark contrast to the deep blue skies makes the colors stand out even more.
Thanks Douglas comment appreciated!Indeed, it is, Larry.

Thanks Jameel, it was peak color in that area. I also made a stop there in winter and grabbed a shot of the bare trees and snow in the foreground. The color shot almost looks monochrome and is also a very interesting image, I may post a monochrome version in the black and white forum.Looks like peak color there. I'd stop for that every single time.
You guessed right Mike this was on the Boreas Pass road a mile or so passed Como. I have seen the color show just out of Como. My wife and I have been over Boreas pass numerous times in both the summer and fall and found nice wild flowers in area on the Breckenridge side of the pass. Thanks for looking and commenting!I was going to guess Boreas Pass - that place often goes crazy in the fall, it is one of my favorite places to check out. You have captured a really nice stand here. There is a slope right after you come into Como off the highway that often has some wonderful red and orange Asens mixed in to the yellow, just an amazing place.
