So this will probably be my one and only take on Comet 12P Pons-Brooks.
Its position is fairly low down towards the West in the sky, which makes capturing it quite challenging. For me it’s a race against time before it dips down below my neighbour’s roof line and having to wait long enough for the sky to darken enough to pick up any detail in the tail. But the most challenging bit is having no clouds in the way!
Anyway, even though I have only managed to grab a few minutes on it, and there was some wispy high-level cloud about that evening, I am pleased with how this one has turned out.

Hey Andy, great job! It's certainly got a glowing head to it.

When I captured it a week or so ago, I imaged for 60 minutes, but ended up only using 30 minutes of the capture as the last 30 was so low it just lost too much detail in the tail. I wouldn't mind capturing it again, but I am not sure if I will get a chance, but I am hoping I can later in the week.
