Costa Quebrada, Northern Spain day 12

This short stretch of cliff (less than 2 miles) has many possible compositions due to the numerous sea stacks and islands. We stayed for a night a short walk from here. Unfortunately a brisk wind caused problems with long exposures so I resorted to a burst of exposures and mean merging them to produce a pseudo long exposure effect. This allowed me to discard any heavily blurred shot. In the end I produced 21 final images from the 650 images taken. I would have walked back for a sunset shot but, as usual, the sun disappeared into heavy clag an hour before sunset. The light slowly deteriorated throughout the shoot. Ken

My accommodation is just out of shot to the right of the green grass on the far left of this image.
