I do like the scene and the light. Almost feels like an early HDR image.
I would flame you Zeph, but fires aren't permitted there at Crater Lake... 
This is very nice, and since I am not digging my Crater Lake shots out of my film that's stored in my shed your shot is making me even more envious and desiring of a trip up to Oregon to get some fresh shots of Crater Lake.

This is a nice and unusual image of Crater Lake, Zeph. Is this near one of the turnouts along the main route around the lake? I have spent a lot of time at Crater Lake but don't recognize this particular location.

Hey Doug, This is along the western part of the caldera, I hiked down a few hundred feet, this is looking north.
