Curious Pine Marten

A curious pine marten sitting atop an elk skull in western Montana. Just one of the many critters that stopped by to investigate the old skull. Captured with a remote DSLR camera trap that I put together last year.

Whoa - I like what you have done here. Nice job with the lighting for the remote setup and a seriously neat result.

Was this a triggered system or were you squeezing off the shot while monitoring the scene remotely?
