To shoot the sunrise at Lake Manly in Death Valley National Park, this time I only had to leave at 0500 because I camped overnight at Stovepipe Wells. There was no color in the western sky, nor did Telescope Peak light up because of clouds in the east. But, I was treated to this relaxing blue/teal color, as well as the reflection of the full moon from Dante's View.
