Dappled

This is an old one from 2005 from the Grand Canyon that I stumbled across. Dappled light in the canyon has never really given me any photos that I thought turned out well. This was the exception.

All comments are welcome,

Jim

Yes, this really turned out well I would say! Dappled light is very nice, and colors and depth make for a very interesting capture. The slightly more intimate framing and different perspective brought on by a less common viewpoint than maybe one sees in many GCNP images are fun too. Like it!

The color wheel approves of the contrasting colors. It seems like you need something to contrast the red (either snow, greenery, or giant monsoon clouds). It's nice to see a telephoto shot from you, too!
