Dawn at Vik Beach

Taken at about 3:30am looking away from the rising sun. What caught my eye was the way the sand reflected the morning light when the waves receded back to the ocean. The contrast was interesting and the thought of a black and white landscape immediately came to mind.

I too would have been thinking B&W here and you processed it wonderfully - I love the silky blacks of the sand, which also makes the distant sea stacks stand out.
